Hi, I'm Arshia. I'm a Melbourne-based storyteller, a proud em dash apologist, and a chronically online connoisseur of internet culture (I communicate just as easily in pop culture references and memes as I do in plain English).

My path started in the world of film and writing at the University of Sydney and led to a Masters in Journalism from the University of Melbourne. This blend is my sweet spot: I love telling human-centred stories—from fine-tuning a sentence at my desk to being on my feet shooting footage with a passionate chef or a driven business owner.

My work has let me dive into the things I care about, from the creativity of media and entertainment to important issues like LGBTQ+ and women's rights. I've also been fortunate to write for brands like Australian Eggs and Revo Gyms, and to help bring major campaigns for Uber Eats and Wotif to life.

At my core, I just believe in a good story, well-told. I'm as comfortable working for a fast-paced magazine as I am with a creative agency or an in-house brand team.
